Our approach
The Life Cycle of Health Technologies 2.0 is the result of decades of global collaboration cross the health-technology ecosystem.
Developed through exchange among public authorities, health technology assessment bodies, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry, innovators and other stakeholders, it draws on practical experience and methodological knowledge from throughout the life cycle of health technologies.
The framework creates a shared, horizontal perspective across processes, disciplines and life-cycle stages. It makes the connections, interdependencies and opportunities for learning between them visible.
By linking expertise that is often distributed across organisations and sectors, it supports more coordinated, evidence-informed decision-making on health technologies and its environment.
The evidence.academy translates this collective knowledge into structured learning for professionals working at every stage of the Life Cycle of Health Technologies 2.0.

The evidence.academy builds on the knowledge, methods and practical experience developed through the EuroScan International Network e.V., also known as international HealthTechScan (EuroScan/i-HTS).
EuroScan/i-HTS brings together publicly funded organisations and individual experts working in early awareness, horizon scanning, health technology assessment, reassessment, health policy and innovation.
The evidence.academy is hosted and managed by i-HTScience V.o.G., the non-profit scientific institute of EuroScan/i-HTS. It translates member-developed learning materials and expertise into structured, life-cycle-based education for professionals and organisations.
